Chinese tech giant, Huawei has officially announced the launch of the Nova 16 series on June 1 with massive battery upgrades and a 7,000 mAh cell. 

The new features on the gadget signify major improvement from the previous generation. Alongside the Nova 16, the company will also launch the MatePad Pro Max, which made its global debut earlier this month. 

The Huawei Nova 16 series is confirmed to include the Nova 16, Nova 16 Pro, Nova 16z, and the Nova 16 Ultra. For now, the phone series is reserved for the China. 

The Nova 16 Pro and the Nova 16 Ultra will come with a triple rear camera setup, with the sensors and the LED flash housed inside two large circular discs that sit on top of a rectangular camera island. 

Huawei has teased the Nova 16 Pro variant in Sky Blue and Iridescent color options. The standard nova 16 will offer a dual rear camera system, while also offering a similar design as the Pro and Ultra models. 

On the other hand, the nova 16z has a pill-shaped rear camera module on the back. The phone is seen with dual rear cameras and dual LED flashes. 

Huawei Nova 16 and Nova 16z The nova 16 Pro and Ultra appear to feature a dual camera setup on the front housed inside a pill-shaped cutout, whereas the standard model and Nova 16z get a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. 

Huawei is likely to share more details about the phones ahead of the launch. As per a recent leak, the nova 16 Ultra will get a 6.84-inch LTPO display, a Kirin 9-series chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery. The phone is also rumored to get a 50MP main rear camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor.
