Research Television is establish by authority of the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, to compliment other news and entertainment channels, to uniquely discuss, communicate and broadcast research activities in innovation, invention and technology within the science, engineering, human resource, law and policy from the African broadcast space and the rest of the World.
The station is founded by an inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and researcher, Prof. Neeka Jacob Biragbara. The goal is to present in simple terms the tremendous value addition that research activities present to our community, society and the world in everyday life for sustainable development.
